Ottawa County Juvenile Court

Danita Gilbert-Conway has served as a Magistrate in Ottawa County since 2009. She presides over hearings in Juvenile and Probate Court. Magistrate Gilbert-Conway graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University in 1984, and received her J.D. from the Moritz College of Law in 1988. Beginning in 1992, Magistrate Gilbert-Conway served as a magistrate in the Huron County Juvenile Court.

Emily Gerber began working as the Ottawa County Juvenile and Probate Court Administrator and Magistrate in 2016. Prior to her position in the Court, she worked as an Assistant Prosecutor in Ottawa County for four years. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Bowling Green State University in Music Education in 2008, and then attended the University of Toledo College of Law, earning her J.D. in 2011.

Robin Wahlers is the Chief Deputy Clerk for the Ottawa County Juvenile Court. She began her service in 1991. As Chief Deputy Clerk, Robin serves as the assignment commissioner for the Court, monitors case flow management, processes delinquency and abuse, neglect and dependency cases, protection orders, appeals, sealings and expungements. Robin is a graduate of Danbury High School, and Tiffin University, earning a degree in Court Reporting.

Jennifer Simpson serves as a Deputy Clerk in both the Juvenile and Probate Courts. She is also the coordinator for the Ottawa County Volunteer Guardianship Program. She is a graduate of Port Clinton High School and BGSU Firelands.
